Purchase orders must be sent before the job is due to commence, and include the following information:
Once the purchase order is received, Jacob Shooter Lighting Design Ltd will confirm acceptance of the job in writing via email.
The job is only confirmed, and the dates are only held for your job once a purchase order has been received by Jacob Shooter Lighting Design Ltd and we have confirmed the job in writing.
A purchase order sent to Jacob Shooter Lighting Design Ltd assumes the acceptance of these terms of business.
Jobs longer than one month, where you the client have regulations you wish for us to follow, or where the location of work is outside of the UK, must be accompanied by a contract outlining the scope of work and terms of the job. This must be signed by both parties before the work commences.
For jobs outside of London, standard class travel will be charged between the workers home address and the job site on top of any daily or project rates agreed. If a hotel is required, and the walk to / from the hotel is more than 30minutes, the cost of taxi transport or public transport will be invoiced as extra.
Unless booked by production, the cost of a single, individual hotel room per person will be charged on top of any daily or project rates agreed for jobs outside of London.
Per Diems of £25 + VAT / day will be charged for jobs outside of London where an overnight stay in a hotel is required.
Any tasks or jobs outside of the scope outlined in the purchase order may include an extra fee, and will be agreed in writing as an extra cost.
Equipment required to be delivered to site will incur delivery and collection charges, which will be agreed in writing and invoiced as extra.
All prices quoted are listed excluding VAT. 20% VAT will be applied on top of quoted prices, unless otherwise stated.
If you wish to cancel a booking, this must be done In writing in an email to jacob@jacobshooter.lighting.
If a booking is cancelled by our client 24hrs or less before the job is due to start, the full cost of the job or project will be due following receipt of an invoice.
If our involvement with a project is withdrawn by Jacob Shooter Lighting Design Ltd due to unsafe working conditions, threatening / abusive behaviour from our clients staff or employees that cannot be resolved on site within a timely manor, or failure to meet our terms and conditions, then the full cost of the job or project will be due following receipt of an invoice. For the avoidance of doubt, examples of threatening / abusive behaviour can include, but are not limited to:
If transport booked by production is missed due to any reason other than fault of Jacob Shooter Lighting Design Ltd, then the full cost of the job or project will still be due following receipt of an invoice, and alternative transport arrangements must be made by production.
If the project involves overnight stay in accommodation other than our own home, then a single, individual hotel room must be provided per staff member at a cost to the production. Where this is required to be booked by Jacob Shooter Lighting Design Ltd, this cost will be passed onto the client via invoice.
Flights longer than 9 hours should be booked as either Business Class or Premium Economy.
Jacob Shooter Lighting Design Ltd offer payment terms of 30 days following the date an invoice is raised.
If two or more invoices are paid late by the client, then Jacob Shooter Lighting Design Ltd will reduce the payment terms on future invoices to two weeks, until further notice.
If one or more invoices remain unpaid, Jacob Shooter Lighting Design Ltd reserve the right to cease supply of services or products and remove any supplied products, objects, personnel or services from the job site.
Alterations requested to an invoice more than one week after the invoice was raised and sent will not change the payment due date, and the invoice will still be due within the 30 days from the original due date.
The length of a day is defined as up to 10hrs. If the job continues past this time as a single block, then overtime will be charged at an hourly rate. If the job continues past midnight for more than one hour after a single 10hr continuous block, then a second day rate will be charged for overnight work.
